Easter amigurumi

It's been quite a while since I put my hands on another amigurumi. Yesterday I found a nice pattern for an easter amigurumy bunny basket, and I wanted to give it a go. The chocolate eggs fit lovely on it, let's hope the bunny won't eat them all ;)

Spring is here! Is time to think about something spring and Easter related, and what is more useful and easy to make than tags? Here are the first 2011 Easter (or spring) tags. Violet is the theme colour for this first set.

Fancy some cooking?

Cooking is a great passion of mine, and I find cooking books really useful and wonderful when they are rich of recipes written by yourself or just given by someone else. I made this recipe book for a friend of mine for her birthday in January. I made it simple as I wanted something which was similar to her lifestyle. I found the quotation in the net and found it was just perfect for this cookbook. As for the rest, I just added some coloured paper and ribbons the same colour of the polka dots of the paper, and here is the cookbook! If you want, you can also see how it is inside. Enjoy! 

Micro wallet

This is what I needed for myself: a micro coin-wallet with some space for bus tickets. I did not know exactly how to make it, as I made some before but not so little. It has some imperfections, but I like it: it's really little and handy :)

Special wedding

I have two special friends which are getting married on April the 2nd, and thought about making a special card to celebrate their wedding. I didn't want something too white or veil-like, so I opted for colours and words. I added some embossing and here is the result...

Cats

Adoro i gatti. Recentemente io e lei abbiamo scoperto un sito di stoffe, americano. A dir la verità, le avremmo comprate tutte, ma calcolando la spedizione e l'eventuale dogana, ci siamo trattenute.
Una di queste era, appunto, la stoffa gattosa. Avevo pensato di utilizzarla per un altro modello, ma sfortunatamente era stata tagliata di modo da poterla utilizzare in un solo modo....

I love cats. Recently, me and her discovered an online fabric site in the USA. To be true, we wanted to buy all the fabrics :P, but we had to think about shipping and customs, so we had to hold back.
One of those fabrics was this cat one. I thought I could make a different model, but it had been cut in a way I had to use it only this way...
